The balance break and the asymmetry lead one of the strong strends for this spring-summer 2012. Not everyone likes it, but everybody will go for it in the end. Nicola Formichetti for Mugler and Ricardo Tisci for Givenchy have turned asymmetry into the leitmotiv of their collections. Several fashion brands caught this trends during the Ready-to-Wear fashion shows last fall. Even Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga has launched a new version of the fisherman's hat designed by Cristóbal Balenciaga. This trend is now available through skirts, dresses and shirts that break the balance of lines and shapes. Here you have my picks.
