Este bolso de mano de Marni ha sido el descubrimiento del día. Creo que le otorga a un look sencillo el punto de sofisticación perfecto. Es ideal para una fiesta en la que no haya que lidiar con demasiados formalismos protocolarios. Aporta ese toque chic al conjunto que buscamos cuando no queremos complicarnos demasiado. This Marni cluth has been my today's discovery. I think that it gives the perfect touch of sophstication to a plain outfit. It fits great for a party where you don't have to face too much formal codes. It contributes with that chic touch that we're looking for when we want to get things easily. Loewe Oro Collection 2012

Menuda se ha liado en las redes sociales con el vídeo de la campaña Loewe Oro 2012. En las últimas semanas hemos podido ver pinceladas, pero hoy ha sido cuando se ha desatado la gran polémica. La gran mayoría lo critica para mal. No es por llevar la contraria, pero el vídeo me encanta y la estrategia me parece fascinante, ya que acerca a Loewe al sector joven de la población. Creo que es muy acertado escoger a un grupo de jóvenes más o menos influyentes como imagen de esta fantástica colección de bolsos. Quizá la mayoría se indigne porque "que si son hijos de" o "cómo pueden hablar de lo que Loewe representa en su vida". Lo cierto es que Loewe no está hecho para la mayoría y los personajes elegidos no tienen por qué representar a todo el país. Para quienes todavía no le habéis dado al PLAY, aquí os dejo el vídeo, y para los que queráis repetir, también. A mí me parece súper divertido.

What a mess at social networks today because of Loewe Golden 2012 campaign video. During the last weeks we've been able to see some brushstrokes, but it has been today when the controversy has flared up. Most of people fiercely critises it. I don't mean to take the opposite view. However, I love the video and I think the strategy is fascinating, because it brings Loewe closer to young people. I believe that it's very smart to choose a group of young people (more or less influential) as image for this gorgeous bags collection. Maybe most of the people get angry because "they are daddy's boys and girls" or "how come they talk about what Loewe means in their lifes". The fact is that Loewe is not made for the majority and these people don't have to represent and connect with all Spain. For those who haven't clicked PLAY yet, here you have the video; and for those who want to repeat, as well. I see it very funny.

Hoy me he encontrado en la red con esta neoyorquina del Upper-East Side y me ha encantado todo. Su actitud con respecto a la moda, sus looks rompedores y su forma de escribir. Su nombre es Leandra y su blog, The Man Repeller, en el que da rienda suelta a su imaginación con un gran sentido del humor.

Goodbye, Stefano Pilati!

Stefano Pilati ha estado ocho años al frente de Yves Saint Laurent como director creativo. La colección de otoño-invierno 2012 ha sido la última, cuyo protagonismo se lo ha llevado todo el negro. Una colección para una mujer dominante y fuerte enfundada en cuero negro. Un color que sólo permite licencias al verde botella, al granate o a los brillos del lamé y de la malla metálica como si de una armadura se tratase. El símbolo del adiós se ve reflejado en el estampado de calas sobre alguna de las prendas. Aquí os dejo mi selección de los momentos de Pilati para Yves Saint Laurent.

Stefano Pilato has led Yves Saint Laurent as creative director for eight years. Fall-winter 2012 collection has been the last one, where the protagonist has been black colour. A collection for a strong and dominant woman in black leather. This colour only lets licenses to bottle-greeen, deep-red or shines from lamé and chain mail. Sarah Burton ha presentado una versión muy optimista del futuro en su colección para otoño-invierno 2012 donde los tonos claros ganan protagonismo al negro. Modelos con lunas tintadas como gafas y zapatos imposibles que ya son una insignia de la marca. Los vestidos, como siempre, una oda al arte. En esta ocasión las infinitas capas de tela confeccionan la versión de un primer plano de una flor.

Sarah Burton has launched a very optimistic version of the future in her collection for fall-winter 2012, where light colours win prominence against black. Models with black-dyed windshields as sunglasses and impossible shoes that are already a brand's insignia. Dresses, as always, an ode to art. This time the countless layers of fabric make up the version of a flower close up.

Weekly look: Pastels at Paris Fashion Week

A pesar de las frías temperaturas, los estilismos en la Paris Fashion Week han retado al invierno. Los tonos pastel son tendencia esta primavera y han tenido una gran presencia en las jornadas de desfiles en París. Hay quien los lleva al extremo, como la blogger Susie Bubble, con un total look. Otras prefieren optar por unas pequeñas pinceladas. Yo soy más partidaria de esta segunda opción, porque creo que esos colores tan claros no favorecen nada. ¿Qué creéis vosotros?

Though the cold temperatures, style has challenged the winter at Paris Fashion Week. Pastel shades are trend for this spring and they have got many flashes attention during fashion shows days at Paris. Some people wear them up to the extreme, as blogger Susie Bubble, with a pastel total look. Others prefer to choose just a few strokes. I go for the second option, because I think that those light colours don't flatter at all. What do you think about it?

Marni for H&M is here and sold out!

Hoy era el día de llegada a las tiendas de la colección de Marni para H&M. Respetando los estampados característicos de la casa italiana, la colaboración ha resultado en una colección perfecta para el verano, llena de colores y muy fresca. Aquí os dejo el vídeo de cómo modelos y celebrities se prepararon para la fiesta de presentación en Los Ángeles. Quizás un total look es demasiado, pero yo ya he ojeado algún short o algún pantalón para combinar con otras prendas lisas. ¿Qué os parece?

Today was the stores arrival day for Marni for H&M collection. Conserving the Italian maison carachteristic prints, the collaboration has turned out into a very fresh and colorful collection, perfect for summer. Here you can see the video about how models and celebrities were getting ready for the launch party in Los Angeles. A total look is maybe too much, but I've already had a look at some short or some pants to coordinate with other plain garments. What do you think about?
